Towards the end of her forty-year career as a creator of science museums, Sheila Grinell turned to fiction. Her debut novel, Appetite, appeared in 2016, and her second novel, The Contract, in 2019. She speaks at libraries and bookstores about "writing as a second act," among other topics.
